What sets your rate and payment
How an equipment lease payment works
Equipment leases are often quoted with a lease rate factor. Multiply the equipment cost by the factor to get the monthly payment. Example: a $50,000 machine at a 0.0244 factor for 48 months is $50,000 × 0.0244 = $1,220 a month, or $58,560 over the term. See what a lease rate factor is.
This is an example only. Your factor depends on credit, time in business, equipment type and term.

Why many owners lease instead of paying cash
Leasing is an inflation buster with a fixed payment while prices rise, and cash flow management with a low capital outlay compared with buying outright. Payments are low and manageable, terms run up to 5 years, most with a $1 buyout, and equipment may qualify for Section 179, a potential 100% deduction (ask your CPA). You conserve cash for payroll and growth.
Loan calculator questions
Does using the calculator affect my credit?
No. The calculator and pre-qualification start with a soft inquiry. A lender may run a hard inquiry only at final approval.
How accurate is the estimate?
It is an estimate based on what you enter. Your final rate and payment depend on credit, time in business, revenue, collateral and the lender.
What do I need to apply after I get a quote?
A short online application, 3–4 months of business bank statements and, for equipment, the invoice or quote.
Can a startup use the calculator?
Yes. Startups can get estimates for equipment leasing; most working capital products need 6+ months of revenue.
How fast can I get funded?
Working capital can fund in 1–2 days after approval. Equipment deals usually fund in a few days once paperwork is complete.
