Rule of thumb

Match the money to the use

Use leases and equipment financing for things that last, working capital for things that turn quickly, and long-term loans for real estate and acquisitions. Leasing in particular is an inflation buster and a cash flow management tool: a low capital outlay, low, manageable payments, terms up to 5 years with most at a $1 buyout, possible Section 179 treatment (ask your CPA), and you conserve cash for operations.

FAQ

Funding program questions

Will I see every program I qualify for?

We compare multiple lenders and products and show you the ones that fit your business profile.

Will pre-qualification affect my credit?

Pre-qualification starts with a soft review. Some lenders run a hard inquiry before final approval.

How fast can I receive funding?

Some programs fund within 24–72 hours; SBA and commercial loans need more underwriting.

Can a startup qualify?

Startups usually qualify first for equipment leasing. Most working capital needs 6+ months of revenue.

What do I need to apply?

A short application and 3–4 months of business bank statements; larger requests need financials.

Rates and terms disclosure: any rates, payments or terms shown are examples only. Sample rates apply to established businesses with 3 to 5+ years in business and strong credit (680+ FICO), subject to credit approval. Startup rates vary and are subject to final approval. Application-only limits vary by credit, time in business, equipment type and industry; amounts shown are guidance, not a promise. $0 down is reserved for businesses with 5+ years in business, established PayNet and D&B business credit and 700+ personal credit. This is not an offer or commitment to lend. Not tax advice; ask your CPA about Section 179.
