Equipment Finance Closer / Underwriter
No prospecting. We hand you submitted applications; you underwrite, place, structure and close them. Keep 50% of the commission on every deal you fund.
What the job is
Applications come in every day from our website, quote tool, vendors and reps. Someone has to pick each one up, figure out what it is, get it approved and get it funded. That’s you. You don’t cold call and you don’t hunt for leads; you work the pipeline we already have.
- Review each application: credit, time in business, bank statements, financials, equipment and vendor
- Decide which lenders fit, package the file and submit it
- Work the approval: answer lender conditions, get stips, push for the best terms
- Present offers to the client, handle objections, and collect signed docs and funding items
- Coordinate with the vendor on invoices, delivery and funding
- Keep every file updated in the CRM so nothing dies in the inbox

Equipment leasing & EFAs
$10K to $5M, new and used, app-only to full financial packages.
Commercial trucks
Work trucks, vocational and fleet deals, including startups.
Working capital
Term loans, lines of credit, MCA and factoring.
SBA & real estate
Larger files that need a full package and patience.

Applications LCG assigns to you from our website, quote tool, vendors and reps.

Deals you bring in
Not required, but if a client or referral of yours comes through, it pays like a sourced deal.
Split is of the commission Liberty Capital Group earns on each funded deal, paid after the deal funds and LCG is paid. Vendor referral fees and rep splits, where applicable, come out before your share. 100% commission, independent contractor (1099). No base salary or draw.
Who we’re looking for
- 2+ years in equipment finance, commercial lending or MCA as a closer, funder, underwriter, credit analyst or broker-side processor
- You can read a credit report, a bank statement and a P&L and know within minutes which lender will take the file
- You know lender criteria: time in business, PayNet and Dun & Bradstreet business credit, comparable credit, debt schedules and stips
- Fast and organized: a file that sits two days is a file that goes to another broker
- Straight with clients: you tell them the real terms and the real odds, including when a deal doesn’t fit

Not a fit if
You need a base salary, you’ve never submitted a file to a lender, or you’d rather be on the phone prospecting than in the file getting it funded. This role is for people who like turning a messy application into a funded deal.
