Why lease instead of paying cash

Let the truck pay for itself

Cash should chase revenue, not sit in a truck that loses value every mile. Leasing is an inflation buster: your payment is fixed for the full term while fuel, parts and new-truck prices keep going up.

It is also cash flow management. A low capital outlay compared with buying outright keeps money free for drivers, insurance, fuel and marketing. Payments stay low and manageable, terms run up to 5 years, and most of our leases end with a $1 buyout, so you own the truck. A $1 buyout lease may qualify for Section 179, a potential 100% deduction in the year the truck is placed in service (ask your CPA). Bottom line: you conserve cash for growth.

FAQ

Tow truck financing questions

How do I finance a tow truck?

Send the truck listing and a one-page application. We compare lenders and structure a loan, lease or EFA, new or used, with terms up to 60 months.

Can I lease a tow truck?

Yes. Rollbacks and wreckers can be leased, including lease to own with a $1 buyout at the end.

Can I get tow truck financing with bad credit?

Credit challenges are considered, usually with a down payment or a shorter term. Motor club or police rotation contracts help.

Do you finance flatbed tow trucks and rotators?

Yes: flatbed rollbacks, light- and heavy-duty wreckers and rotators, new or used.

Can I start a towing business with no money down?

$0 down is reserved for established businesses with 5+ years in business, established PayNet and D&B business credit and 700+ personal credit. New towing companies usually need a down payment.

Can I buy a used tow truck from a private seller?

Yes. The seller must prove ownership and deliver clear title; any lien is paid off at funding.

Will applying hurt my credit?

We start with a soft inquiry to pre-qualify you. The lender may run a hard inquiry only at final approval.
