Don't buy on the sales rep's projections
Laser vendors often show best-case revenue. Before you sign, work out how many treatments a week cover the payment, and ask about consumables, per-pulse or software fees, handpiece replacement and warranty length. Rules on who may operate each laser vary by state, so confirm your staffing plan too. If the numbers still work at half the projected volume, it's probably a good buy.

Medical laser financing questions
Can I finance a used or refurbished laser?
Yes. Certified pre-owned lasers from established dealers can be financed, often at a much lower total cost than new.
Should I lease or buy a laser?
If you expect to upgrade within 3 to 5 years, an FMV lease gives the lowest payment and an easy upgrade path. If you plan to keep the system, a $1 buyout lease or EFA lets you own it and may qualify for Section 179.
Can a new med spa get laser financing?
Yes. New practices are considered based on the owners' credit and experience, usually with a down payment. Deferred payments can help while the business ramps up.
Can training and extra handpieces be included?
Yes. Financing can cover up to 120% of the equipment cost, including shipping, installation, training and additional handpieces.
How much can I finance on the application alone?
Up to about $250,000 with a one-page application, depending on credit and time in business. Larger packages, up to $5,000,000, need financial statements.
How fast is funding?
Approvals often come the next day, and we usually fund the vendor 1 to 5 days after signing and delivery.
Adding a laser service line?
Send us the vendor quote and get approved, often by the next day.

Despite technological advancements, loans, especially in crane and boom truck and equipment financing, predominantly involve personal interaction with an underwriter to ensure as fraud prevention. Automation may not suffice, particularly when dealing with a third party like the vendor and the complexities of equipment purchase. In such scenarios, business owners are often better served by collaborating with a Business Loans Broker like Liberty Capital Group, Inc., who can steer them in the right direction.
